Perspectives on Sexuality & LGBTQ+ Inclusion in the Evangelical Covenant Church
The following report includes data from the 300+ participants of the ECC IN COLOR survey that was released in September of 2025, as well as historical data from the last thirty years of dialogue and debate surrounding human sexuality in the Covenant Church, proposed agreements for good-faith dialogue, questions for the Covenant Church to consider, and recommendations for moving forward as a denomination in health and good will.
The full report is 190 pages. Feel free to read through the whole thing, though if it seems daunting, each section is presented as its own document as well, to make it a bit more digestible.
If you appreciate this work, please share this page widely and enthusiastically!
Also, if you are a current or former member of the Evangelical Covenant Church or student, faculty, or alumni of North Park University and Theological Seminary, and you never got a chance to take the survey, I left it open for anyone who wants to add their perspective. If enough people fill it out I may do something in the future with the data. You can access it at this link.
